Everyone welcome! Open to all students, staff and faculty of Queen's University at no charge for classes. There are two opportunities every week on Queen's main campus. No experience is necessary. Each class is self-contained, so please attend when you can.
Simply Meditate
Lunchtime Breathing Meditations
Where: Ban Righ Centre, The Flower Pot Room
When: The month of May, Mondays 12:10-12:50pm (June tbd)
Give your mind a peaceful break. Join us for breathing meditations at the Ban Righ Centre, downstairs in the Flower Pot Room, every Monday. While these sessions are taught from a Buddhist perspective, they are open to all and do not require any beliefs.
Prayers for World Peace
When: The month of May, Wednesdays 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. June tbd.
Where: The Kuluta Buddhist Centre, 182 Wellington Street.
These sessions will provide the opportunity to practice the meditations we learned in the Introduction to Buddhism classes at Queen's. Check "Meditation Classes>Kingston" for details.
